HOPPY EASTER

Hoppy Easter

Easter Town
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Townies/122/134/24

Even in Second life, I believe the holidays should be about family.  Its a time to toss aside the daily worries and cares, to have a little fun, and to be around the people who helped to make you who you are.  Its a time to show appreciation for what you have, even if what you have isn't much.  A time to laugh, to reminisce, maybe even get a little goofy because you know you are around the people who love you as is, and not for what you show the world.

I am truly blessed to have such family in second life.  People who realize that the fashion and the photography is just a part of me, and that beneath lays a geeky little country girl.  People who know how to pull the real me out from its shell and make her laugh like the goofy little girl she once was.

Now this review isn't my normal photographic sim, and as you can see I definitely wasn't my normal fashionable self, but I can honestly tell you, that I have not had this much fun in second life in a long time.

Such a Colorful Town

Putting my Carrot into over drive

So with my Secondlife Father, who is one of my favorite people in the entire world, and my second life son, who is just a joyous little bundle of love, we equipped ourselves with some Easter Gear and head out to have fun, and OMG what fun we had.

Ok, so you arrive in Easter Town to a world of Color, music, spring, and just Joy.  Your eye doesn't know what to look at first because there is something to do everywhere and it looks like you've fallen into a Saturday Morning Cartoon.

This sim is kid friendly, in fact I encourage you to bring your children here, and there is endless play for adult and child alike.  Just remember adults, it is a family sim, so keep yourself covered and clean up your language in local please, don't ruin this for everyone!

Things to Do:
Eggboat rides....Photo Opts.....Peep Races (omg so fun).....Easter Egg Hunt (each egg is a prize)....Bunny Hop Group Dance....Egg Decorating contest (win massive Linden).....Hoppy Balls.....Carrot Cars....Photos with the Easter Bunny Tina.....Hot air balloon rides....and Jelly Bean Dance.

There are also activities that aren't mention like some amazing Easter Shopping, and free prizes all over the place.

I can't remember the last time I had this much fun with people that I truly love and who truly love me.  I know for certain though that I don't want to wait till the next holiday to do it again!

P.S - To my Dad (pictured above) and to my son (not pictured) Thank you for being you, for loving me, and for making both of my worlds a much better place.  Happy Easter, I love you both.
To all my Readers, thank you for your continued support (We just broke 7000 Views!!!), and I wish you and yours and amazing Holiday!
Love always
Isa

Mastering the Zen

Mastering the Zen

Rated A for Adult

A friend handed me this location and said I had to visit.  So yesterday, determined to get some reviews done I headed to the Mastering of the Zen to take a look.  This location isn't very big, only enough to hold a few buildings and some pretty landscape and yet it is still worth a visit.

Use the windlight provided to capture some beautiful peaceful photos and enjoy the stunning scenery that is perfect to its theme.  I fell in love with the lotus flowers and cherry blossoms that surround the area.

Though it will take you no time at all to walk around the area, you will find yourself able to capture beautiful photos that are ready to post with little effort at all.  The area certainly lives up to its name and provides a peaceful state of Zen from the moment you arrive.

Those of you who have been reading this blog for awhile and more then likely thinking What the f*&$!  I totally understand, this is not my usual sim.  I normally demand an overly realistic sim so that I can take pictures of scenery and myself.  But as with all things in life, there is always an exception to the rule, and this, is one hell of a stunning exception.

My landing point dropped me down on a chunk of what I can only assume is asteroid that is a dance floor, or a great place for Tia Chi apparently!  Its not the ground you notice though, the sky around you demands your attention and the snap of your camera.

I could talk forever about the friendly people I met, the stunning photos I took, the enjoyment to be had in this little space (excuse the pun) but for once, i'm just going to let these pictures speak for themselves.

I will say this, as a bit of a real life space nut, I was completely caught up in the beauty the sky here provided, my only suggestion is set your windlight to a black sky for photos instead of the grey the sim provides.  It really makes the colors jump out and leaves you feeling like your walking through space.

From the moment you begin your visit at this little island oasis, your not really sure where to point your camera and click.  For such a small space, so much calls your eye.  You instantly get the feeling you have been shipwrecked or survived a plane crash to land at this tiny destination.  By the landing spot you will notice a refreshing pool of water with the most magical water lilies decorating it, if your me, you find it impossible not to capture it on film.

The area offers dozens of beautiful crafted locations to take pictures, numerous animated objects and back grounds, and promises to just be a fun place to hang out.  With a club up on one of the hills, the ability to voice, and the promise of great music, I can certainly see why people would love to spend a night here.

Now when I arrived each time over the past 2 days I did see only one other person on sim.  I'm not sure if this little sim is just getting its start, or if I am there at a bad time each day, but the lack of people did make the whole sim at my beck and call and me able to take some great shots without interference.

The sim is rated M for Moderate, so don't be expecting to take your beach nudes here, it does though offer a sweet little home for picture use along the water that is filled with animated objects with some fabulous poses.

Who we kidding?  My reality ended long ago.
Ok now this was the most misplaced object, it didn't fit with the run down, dessert oasis at all, but I must confess my inner geek SCREAMED when I saw this.  You so know I tried to drive it!!!  Now normally I don't do this, but this object is tooo amazing not to give a shout out to the creator.  Made by Jenika Connolly, owner and designer of Freak Boutique, Second Hand Droids, and Jenika's Astronomy Park.  Her main store is now closed but you can still find this Incom T-65 X-Wing on sale in Market Place for only $800.

Long Live the Resistance

Ok back to the sim, use their windlighting to capture some great shots, its totally easy to get lost in this place and just enjoy your camera and the pictures it captures.  A purely enjoyable experience and a Sim I will most definitely come back to.  I hope you all enjoy it as much as I had.

Stand By Me
John Lennon

When the night is come and the  land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
 I won't be afraid,  I won't be afraid
Just as long as you  stand by me
Stand by me, stand by me, stand by  me
Won't you  stand by me
Oh woo oh,  stand by me,  stand by  me
And when the sky that we look upon
Should crumble and fall
And the mountain should crumble to the sea
 I won't be afraid, I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
Stand by me, stand by me, stand by me
Stand by me
